Bio | Trivia
Born and raised in Philadelphia suburbs, Sante started playing drums at
age 10. It was obvious at an early age his hard hitting energetic style
turned people on. Early influences included: Mitch Mitchell of the Hendrix
Experience, John Bonham of Led Zeppelin and Keith Moon of the Who. Later
he was influenced by drummer Bill Bruford of the groups Yes, Genesis &
U.K., and by Stewart Copeland of The Police. Well known on the Philadelphia
original music scene, he's played with Combustion, The Sites, Strychnine
Devine, Laura Mann and Crazy Bob. Former band mates describe him as "Having
an aggressive style", "Explosive" and "An animal that should be caged".
Alternative Press Magazine called his drumming volcanic! Fans have told
him, "It looks like you’re trying to destroy the drums" and "Dude, you
play with fierce intensity". What he does cannot be captured on any recording
device. You have to see it to believe it! |
